We at Scott's Quality Lawn Care are seeking an individual to fill the very important role of Residential Snow Removal Labourer. You and your Crew Lead will be responsible for approximately 35 residential snow removal clients. Your availability is such that you need to be available everyday with the exception of Christmas Day which is the only day which we do not guarantee our services to our clients. With this said, you will only work when it snows which results in a number of days off, however you must be on call every day.

Job hours will range based on the snow fall. There will be weeks where you will not log any hours, while some weeks you may log up to or more than 40 hours. 20 hours per week tends to be a general average throughout the winter. This type of schedule and unpredictability is not for everyone. You must keep your phone on you at all times if we hire you for this position so you can make it into work at a moment's notice when the snow flies.

Additionally, you must be in reasonably good physical condition. A higher than average level of fitness is a huge asset. We are also looking for a person who fits our culture. You need to have a positive attitude, exceptional customer service skills, high attention to detail, and a willingness to physically work hard. This is by no means an easy position. You will be joining an exceptional team where our standard is high and we expect a lot from each other. Many snow days are quite enjoyable for our team members, but we do get the occasional heavy snowfall usually 0-4 times per season which is challenging for everyone, but it's an all hands on deck, get it done attitude at Scott's QLC.

There is also opportunity to move into a salaried crew leader position and there will also be spots available on our summer lawn care crews where hours are more stable.
