Snow Removal Labourer
Job Description
Snow removal Labourers wanted. These are term positions ending on March 31 with the option to convert to full time positions in spring. Our reputation relies on a high quality standard of service. Responsibilities include: shovelling, sweeping, scraping, blowing. Must be willing to work long hours in winter conditions.
Must have own transportation to our shop. Shifts start and end during times when public transit is not available.
Responsible for following directions as laid out by the foreperson.
Experience with snow removal an asset but not required.
Experience with small equipment an asset but not required.
Must be able to work as part of a team or alone.
Training will be provided but constant supervision will not. It is expected that you will take direction and follow the orders as given by the Crew Leader, but be able to work independently.
Job Types: Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 5 months
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
