Overview

We are seeking dependable Snow Removal Laborers to assist with residential driveway clearing and commercial walkway maintenance during snowfall events. This position is on-call and weather-dependent, requiring availability whenever snow conditions necessitate service.

Primary duties include manual and mechanical snow removal using tools such as shovels, ice scrapers, backpack blowers, and snowblowers. Work is often performed in early morning hours and during inclement weather to ensure client properties are safe and accessible.

This role is physically demanding and requires working outdoors in cold conditions for extended periods. While availability must be full-time during the snow season, average weekly hours typically range between 15 and 25, depending on snowfall frequency.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is reliable, punctual, and responsive, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail. Applicants must be comfortable driving in winter conditions and working early mornings, nights, or weekends as required by snowfall events.

Candidates should be physically capable of performing strenuous outdoor labor and willing to work in cold and adverse weather conditions. A team-oriented mindset is essential, as is the ability to follow instructions and uphold service quality standards. Access to personal transportation is preferred, though not strictly required.

Prior experience in snow removal is an asset, but not required. Strong world ethic and willingness to learn take priority.

Compensation

Compensation is structured to reward availability and workload, with the following

$19 per hour, if minimum is exceeded.

Flat monthly rate of $2,000, applicable when working below hour threshold

Employees who use their own vehicle for work purposes may also qualify for a vehicle use bonus.
