The Snow Plow Operator plays a crucial role in maintaining safe and accessible roadways during winter weather conditions. This position requires skilled individuals who can operate snow plowing equipment effectively and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience with various hand and power tools, ensuring that snow removal tasks are completed promptly and safely.
Duties
Operate snow plow trucks and other related equipment to clear roads, parking lots, and pathways of snow and ice.
Perform routine maintenance on snow removal equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Monitor weather conditions and respond accordingly to changing situations.
Collaborate with team members to coordinate snow removal efforts in designated areas.
Maintain clear communication with supervisors regarding equipment status and any issues encountered during operations.
Follow all safety protocols while operating machinery and performing physical tasks.
Skills
Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain snow removal equipment.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for various maintenance tasks.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in challenging weather conditions.

Class 8 drivers license required.
