Conquer the Cold: Join the Snow Crew at Drake's Landscaping!
It's been a heavy winter, and we're feeling it! To keep our standards high and our team fresh, we are expanding our crew
mid-season
.
We're looking for high-caliber
Snowplow Operators
who take pride in keeping our community safe when the flakes start flying.
At Drake's, we don't just
"move snow"
--we provide professional-grade ice and snow management. We're looking for the best because our customers expect the best.
Why Join Drake's Mid-Season?
We value the dedication it takes to work through the night, and we reward it:
?
Winter Premiums (all-season staff)
- Higher rates for those who own the night.
?
Year-Round Potential
- Love the crew? See if you are the right fit for our warm-season team for full-time employment next season!
?
Well-Maintained Iron
- Work with reliable trucks, skid steers, and loaders.
?
Culture of Respect
- We work hard, we take care of our gear, and we look out for one another.
The Mission: Precision & Pride
This isn't a "get in and drive" gig.
We take snow removal seriously, and we expect you to do the same.
Team-First Plowing:
If you're "just an operator," this isn't the place for you. Everyone here knows the grind of the sidewalk. You plow in a way that makes life easier for the shovelers, and you aren't afraid to hop out and grab a shovel yourself to get the job done right.
Total Accountability:
Using our mobile systems to log before-and-after photos and service details is
mandatory
, not a suggestion. If you can't document it, you didn't do it.
Equipment Care:
We don't just "plow and go home." You'll participate in before-and-after shift maintenance to ensure the gear is ready for the next hit. We take care of the equipment so it can take care of us.
Professional Standards:
We have a
strict no-smoking policy
in all company vehicles. This is an immediate termination offense--no exceptions.
What You'll Need to Bring:
?
Proof of Skill:
A valid driver's license and the ability to pass a hands-on skills test in our yard to prove your move.
?
Tech-Readiness:
A working smartphone and the ability to use our logging and truck gps apps accurately every single shift.
?
Reliability:
24/7 availability during snow events. When the call comes, you're ready.
?
The Right Attitude:
You're here to work, support your team, and represent Drake's with high standards.
How to Apply (The "Drake's Way"):
Submit your resume through Indeed.
Complete our Quick Assessment.
We hear it all the time: "An assessment for snow removal? What a joke."That's cool with us--if you think that, don't take it. But we won't be considering your application without it. We invest in our people, and that starts with finding the right fit.
