We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Snow Plow Operator to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining safe and accessible roadways during winter weather conditions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience with various tools and equipment necessary for effective snow removal.
Responsibilities
Operate snow plow vehicles to clear snow and ice from parking lots, and other designated areas.
Perform routine maintenance on snow plow equipment, ensuring all machinery is in good working order.
Utilize hand tools and power tools for snow removal and related tasks.
Collaborate with team members to efficiently manage snow removal operations during storms.
Monitor weather conditions and respond promptly to changing situations to ensure public safety.
Maintain accurate records of hours worked, materials used, and any incidents that occur during operations.
Qualifications
Proven experience in snow removal
Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed.
Ability to operate various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions and maintain a flexible schedule during winter months.
A valid driver's license is required
