We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Snow Plow Operator to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring safe and efficient snow removal during winter weather conditions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience with various tools and equipment used in snow removal and maintenance tasks.
Duties
Operate snow plow trucks and other equipment to clear snow from roads, parking lots, and walkways.
Perform routine maintenance on snow removal equipment, including checks on hydraulic systems, blades, and other mechanical components.
Utilize hand tools and power tools for minor repairs and adjustments as needed.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of snow removal operations while adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.
Requirements
Proven experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators or snow plows is preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in maintenance and construction tasks.
Ability to work in adverse weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
