Overview

We are seeking a reliable and preferably experienced Snow Plow Operator to efficiently manage snow removal operations during winter months. This role is essential for maintaining safe and accessible parking lots. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating construction and landscape machinery and possess relevant skills in maintaining equipment. Duties

Operate skid steer "bobcat" equipment to clear snow from parking lots. Perform routine inspections of plow machinery to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance Conduct minor mechanical repairs or adjustments to plow equipment and vehicles Use hand tools and power tools for equipment maintenance and minor construction or repair projects Ensure all safety protocols are followed during snow removal operations

Skills

Proven experience operating skid steers, snow plows, or similar heavy machinery Mechanical knowledge related to construction, maintenance, and landscape equipment Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic repair techniques Strong understanding of safety procedures related to construction and outdoor equipment operation Ability to work at night in winter weather for extended periods when required (some day shifts for plowing on major snow events) Good communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions Physical stamina to perform demanding outdoor work during winter months
This position requires candidates to be physically fit, safety-conscious, and capable of handling the responsibilities associated with snow removal operations. Prior experience with construction or landscape maintenance is advantageous. The role plays a vital part in ensuring community safety during inclement weather conditions. Pay: $32.00-$35.00 per hour
