Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Snow Plow Operator to efficiently clear snow from roads, driveways, and parking lots during winter seasons. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of snow removal equipment and safety procedures, ensuring safe and timely operations in challenging weather conditions. This role is vital for maintaining accessibility and safety for the community or organization served.

Responsibilities

Operate snow plow trucks to remove snow and ice from designated areas Perform routine inspections and maintenance on plow equipment to ensure optimal functioning Apply salt or de-icing materials as needed to prevent ice formation Monitor weather conditions and adjust operations accordingly for maximum efficiency Ensure all safety protocols are followed during snow removal activities Communicate effectively with team members regarding work progress and safety concerns Maintain accurate records of work performed and equipment used

Experience

Prior experience operating snowplow truck Mechanical knowledge related to equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is advantageous Hand shovel sidewalks and wheel chair accessible and visitors park spot Must be 25+ with a class g driver license and clean drivers abstract
This position offers an essential service during winter months, ensuring safety and accessibility. Candidates should possess mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work in adverse weather conditions.

Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
