Snow Plow Driver - Pick-Up Truck with Plow & Salter

Seasonal Position - Winter Operations

We are seeking a

reliable and experienced Snow Plow Driver

to operate a

pick-up truck equipped with a plow and salter

for the efficient removal of snow and ice from designated

parking lots, driveways, sidewalks, and walkways

throughout the winter months. The ideal candidate will have proven experience operating pick-up trucks with snow blades, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work in demanding weather conditions. This role is essential for maintaining safe access for our residential clients and business facilities during inclement weather.

Responsibilities

Operate a snow plow pick-up truck to clear snow and ice from parking lots, driveways, sidewalks, and other assigned areas. Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on plow and salter equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance. Spread salt or other de-icing materials as needed to enhance safety and reduce slip hazards. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including areas serviced and materials used. Report any equipment issues or hazards promptly.

Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of proven experience

operating a pick-up truck with a plow and salter. Strong understanding of safety procedures related to equipment operation and winter weather conditions. Good physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors for extended periods in cold or severe weather. Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills, especially when addressing mechanical or equipment-related issues. Background in construction, landscape maintenance, or similar fields is considered an asset.
