Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Snow Plow Operator to join our team. This position is essential for ensuring safe and accessible roadways during winter weather conditions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience with various hand and power tools, as well as a commitment to maintaining high safety standards while performing snow removal tasks.

Duties

Operate snow plow equipment to clear roads, parking lots, and other designated areas of snow and ice. Maintain and inspect snow plow vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Utilize hand tools and power tools for minor repairs and maintenance of the equipment. Perform landscape maintenance tasks as needed, including digging, building, and irrigating areas affected by snow removal operations. Follow safety protocols while working in adverse weather conditions. Collaborate with team members to efficiently manage snow removal routes and schedules.

Experience

Proven experience operating snow plow equipment or similar machinery is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain equipment effectively. Proficiency in using both hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. A commitment to safety and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
