Overview


We are seeking a reliable and experienced Snow Plow Operator to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining safe and accessible roadways and properties during winter weather conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating snow removal equipment, along with skills in landscaping, maintenance, and the use of various hand and power tools. This position offers an opportunity to work outdoors in a physically active environment, ensuring safety and accessibility for our community or clients during snowstorms.

Responsibilities



Operate snow plow trucks and related equipment efficiently to clear driveways, parking lots, and walkways Perform routine inspections and maintenance on snow removal equipment to ensure optimal performance Apply salt or de-icing materials as needed to prevent ice formation Landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, tree trimming, gardening, or irrigation during the balance of the year Ability to haul enclosed trailer & comprehesion of truck scales Use hand tools, power tools, excavators, or other machinery for landscaping or construction-related projects as required Maintain safety protocols during snow removal operations to prevent accidents or injuries Communicate effectively with team members regarding work progress and safety concerns

Experience



Prior experience operating snow plows or similar heavy machinery preferred Mechanical knowledge related to maintenance and troubleshooting of snow removal equipment is advantageous Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance &general construction work is required Familiarity with landscaping tools such as hand tools, power tools, ride on mowers and hardscape equipment is a plus Knowledge of horticulture, tree care, irrigation systems, gardening, and tree trimming enhances versatility in this role
This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Candidates should be comfortable operating machinery safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety guidelines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
