Overview
We are hiring
Loader Operators
andSkid Steer Operators
for awinter seasonal position from now until March 31
.This is an
on-call role during snow and ice events
, withminimum monthly hours guaranteed
so you're not left wondering if you'll get paid in a slow month. Operators who can also help with other tasks (shovelling, salting, shop work, etc.) will have opportunities foradditional hours
Duties
Operate snow plow trucks and related heavy machinery to clear snow from roads, driveways, parking lots, and walkways Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on plow equipment to ensure optimal functionality Conduct safety checks before and after operations to prevent accidents or equipment failure
Requirements
Proven experience operating excavators, snow plows, or similar construction/mechanical equipment Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform minor repairs and routine maintenance on machinery and tools Able to respond on short notice during snow events and commit to the full season
until March 31
Ability to work in cold weather conditions for extended periods during winter storms Strong attention to safety protocols and operational procedures ValidClass 5 driver's licence
(Class 3 is astrong asset
and will receive higher pay) Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 4 months
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
