We are a well-established, home-based independent lawn and snow maintenance company serving the West End of Edmonton. While small in size, we take pride in providing exceptional services to approximately 225 residential lawn clients and 130 snow removal clients. Founded in 2013, we have built a reputation for quality, reliability, and long-term customer relationships. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated, long-term employee to join our team.

As a Snow Removal Technician, you will be assigned a set route of residential properties. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure timely and efficient snow clearing at these locations whenever there is a snowfall. This position requires an individual who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a variety of weather conditions, ranging from extreme cold to heavy snowfall.

You will be provided with a vehicle and all necessary equipment, including a backpack blower, snow blower, and shovels/scrapers.

Key Responsibilities:

Clearing snow from assigned residential properties following snowfall Ensuring all areas are cleared to meet company and client expectations Maintaining equipment and ensuring it is in working order Reporting any issues or concerns to management in a timely manner

Compensation:

Starting pay: $20-25/hr Minimum guaranteed bi-weekly salary, dependent on snow conditions Daytime hours only (no night shifts) Snow removal is weather-dependent, so on-call flexibility is required

Requirements:

Valid driver's license with a CLEAN driver's abstract A MINIMUM of 3 years of consecutive, clean insurance history in Canada Reliable self-transportation to work (in the West End) Physically capable of performing job duties, including shoveling, operating a snow blower, and other manual tasks Ability to work independently and efficiently Strong attention to detail and reliability
