We are seeking a compassionate and responsible Small Dog Overnight Boarder to provide a safe and comfortable environment for small dogs during their stay. This role involves caring for dogs overnight, ensuring their well-being, and providing them with companionship. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and the ability to manage multiple dogs in a home-like setting.
Duties
Supervise and care for small dogs overnight, ensuring their safety and comfort.
Provide regular feeding, exercise, and bathroom breaks as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized boarding area, including cleaning up after the dogs.
Monitor the health and behavior of each dog, reporting any concerns to the owner.
Engage with the dogs through playtime and socialization to keep them happy and stimulated.
Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's needs and activities during their stay.
Skills
Strong customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for both pets and their owners.
Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary, such as moving dog crates or supplies.
Experience with dog handling, training, or care is preferred but not required.
Excellent communication skills to interact with pet owners and provide updates on their pets.
Patience and empathy towards animals, understanding their needs and behaviors.
