Job Description

Are you friendly, personable, and hardworking? Do you enjoy dogs and working outdoors? We may be the right fit for you! This is a full-time position, with a schedule of 4 days on and 3 days off. The position will have a mix of tour guiding as well as kennel responsibilities. Staff accommodation is not available. We are seeking motivated individuals who are:

Preference will be given to individuals with:

• Driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and minimum of 3 years driving history
• Clean driver\xe2\x80\x99s abstract
• Skid steer experience
• Chainsaw and axe knowledge/skill
• Experience with two-way radios
• A wide range of tools knowledge/skill
• Carpentry skills
• Large vehicle maintenance knowledge/skill
• Trailer driving experience and maintenance skill
• Mechanical experience
• Outdoor guiding experience
• Sled dog handling experience
• Sled dog guiding experience
• Veterinary experience
• Animal husbandry experience

Requirements:

• Legally be able to work in Canada
• Hold a current First AID and CPR certification

Wage: $16.00 to $25.00 an hour depending on experience Before applying, please consider the following about the position:
