Responsibilities:

Using a variety of tools (Facebook, 411 etc.) you will investigate sources that lead to the location of a displaced consumer or debtor Investigate sources in an effort to locate assets on personal and/or commercial accounts Document in house systems with details of file activity Establish contact with consumers (by telephone) to determine and confirm if findings are accurate Negotiate payment of debts in accordance with client and company guidelines Investigate and advise on different forms of payment and/or settlement options Clearly document/update files on the system to support file activity Uphold the CCA Code of Conduct by ethically treating each consumer with integrity, honesty, dignity and respect at all times

Qualifications:

3rd party collections or Skip Tracing experience considered an asset*
Customer service and call centre experience considered an asset*
Strong investigative skills Excellent verbal and written communication Self-motivated, goal and detail oriented Sound decision making and judgement Strong organizational skills Dedicated and ethical Ability to work individually and with a team in a fast paced environment Solid computer skills Strong grasp of the English language Ability to think outside of the box to reach a solution Successful candidates will be subject to a criminal record check

Requirements:

To meet provincial licensing requirements, candidates holding a Work Permit must ensure it has at least 6 months of validity remaining at the time of application
