Your Purpose



The purpose of a Meridian Project Manager is to sweat the details while fostering creativity and innovation in the planning and execution of unique construction projects. As a project manager, you will play an essential role in continuing to challenge conventional ways to build in order to further differentiate Meridian from the competition.

What You'll Be Doing



You will have an integral role in the careful planning and flawless execution of projects, while continually supporting ongoing initiatives for innovation and improvement. You will create and manage project schedules and budgets. You will leverage your experience to solve problems and ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality. You'll lead the bidding process and utilize your negotiating skills to create a positive financial impact on projects. You will foster a culture of safety and ensure it is instilled into all involved in Meridian projects.

You have a deep-seated passion for the construction industry. You have the ability to lead your team and external partners with a strong sense of values and clear communication as you work towards a common goal. You challenge the status quo and empower yourself and others to think outside the box. You have a strong attention to detail. You take initiative in identifying problems before they happen and find solutions that keep projects on schedule and under budget.

What You'll Need



Comprehensive knowledge of the construction process, drawings, specifications, schedules, budgets and project management

Proven experience managing large scale multi-family residential and commercial projects

Experience working in a project management capacity for a general contractor

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with employees and stakeholders

Thorough understanding of building code requirements

Post-secondary degree/diploma in Engineering or Construction Management is an asset

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam and Procore an asset

Hands-on experience in the construction industry an asset
