We're seeking a

Site Supervisor

to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with leadership experience in residential construction who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The Site Supervisor will oversee daily site operations, coordinate trades, and ensure projects are delivered on time, safely, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

Supervise trades and site activities to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality workmanship Visit job sites daily to monitor progress and address issues proactively Conduct or participate in daily safety audits using our digital platform (BuilderTrend) Provide training, feedback, and support to site crews and subcontractors Upload daily logs, complete To-Do tasks, and prepare Thursday reports through BuilderTrend Create project schedules and weekly checklists; track labour hours and productivity Review and interpret construction drawings, ensuring accurate execution Monitor material usage, minimize waste, and schedule deliveries in advance Perform occasional general labour tasks (e.g., site cleanup, material pick-up) Communicate effectively with clients, designers, architects, and project managers Submit all required paperwork, receipts, and reports to the office in a timely manner Investigate and document incidents, near misses, or safety concerns Represent MGB professionally with clients, trades, and the public

Qualifications:

5+ years of supervisory experience in residential construction (custom homes/renovations preferred) Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications Proficient with construction management software (BuilderTrend preferred) Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage conflicts professionally Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards Comfortable with technology (Microsoft Office, Outlook, spreadsheets, databases) Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required

Compensation:

Salary negotiable and based on experience.
