We are a service-based organization made up of great people who work hard to get the job done and deliver excellence in the communities where we work and live.Nasittuq has a long history with our roots extending back to 1994, where our founding partners, and formed a joint venture that went on to win a Government of Canada contract to operate and maintain the Nunasi Corporation holds 51% voting rights and ATCO Frontec holds 49% voting rights, with a 51% equity interest held by PAIL and a 49% equity interest held by ATCO Frontec.Description:As part of its NORAD Modernization strategy, the Government of Canada intends to procure a Polar-Over-The-Horizon Radar which will be installed in the Northwest Territories. ATCO Frontec is seeking a Site Manager, contingent on ATCO winning this proposed project.The Site Manager will be responsible for organizing small teams of labourers and workers to execute all aspects of work required to build and install the Polar Over-The- Horizon Radar.This position will be on-site at two locations in the Northwest Territories. Due to security requirements, we are not able to disclose the exact location.Work will be scheduled on a fly in/fly out basis.Responsibilities and Duties

  • Oversee daily operations
  • Coordinate employee schedules, ensuring adequate coverage
  • Enforce all workplace policies and procedures
  • Ensure team functions well: Conduct staff performance reviews; Coordinate training and professional development activities for employees; mediate any on-site conflicts
  • Maintain and adhere to project budget
  • Address and report safety concerns in a timely manner
  • Track and monitors project progress, adhering to prearranged standards
  • Ensure compliance across the worksite
  • Answer inquiries from potential project partners
  • Prepare and submits progress reports
Qualifications & Experience
  • 7-10 years of related experience
  • Proven ability to plan, organize, coordinate, prioritize, and evaluate the work of direct reports and contractors.
  • Good communications and problem-solving skills.
  • Canadian Class G driver\'s license
  • Quad bike operator (desirable)
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems (desirable)
  • Must be able to obtain a federal government security clearance at the Secret level.
