Position Summary





The Site Clerk plays a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of active construction sites. Reporting to the Site Superintendent, this position ensures smooth coordination between trades, suppliers, and internal teams while maintaining accurate documentation and communication throughout the project lifecycle. This position works closely with the Site Superintendent and Project Manager and is based in downtown Vancouver.

Responsibilities





Assist the Site Superintendents with the day-today activities of an active construction site Provide administrative support on schedules, cost control, and contract management Maintain daily construction log in conjunction with Site Superintendent(s) Prepare and maintain communications and documentation with construction subtrades Obtain, organize, and maintain construction documents Place orders in a timely manner to maintain inventory of required building materials Assist in coordination of incoming and outgoing shipments of building materials Maintain constant communication and contact with clients throughout their project Organize and manage subtrades throughout the project, order materials, and ensure we are meeting our timelines Provide daily work orders with instructions to all team members Complete all paperwork associated with the projects daily and properly Uphold and adhere to the company policies including maintenance of a clean and safe work environment Assist with flagging and deliveries as required General clerical duties such as filing, scanning, etc. Other duties as required

Qualifications and Skills:




Education: High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma Experience: At least 2 years' experience in high rise construction.

+ Asset: Experience in record keeping and estimations
Strong commitment to safety in a construction site Attention to detail and documentation. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work unsupervised and within a team environment. Ability to communicate technical information. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Build strong relationships with diverse internal and external groups, and work effectively and creatively in a collaborative manner. Able to work independently and make quick decisions using sound judgment. Valid BC Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle. Ability to work in time-sensitive and high-pressure environment while maintaining a high level of quality Computer Skills: Familiarity with construction management software packages, strong Microsoft Office
+ Bluebeam and MS Project an asset
