area. We are currently seeking reliable, dedicated, and physically fit individuals to join our team as
Seasonal Sidewalk Snow Removal Crew Members
for the upcoming winter season. This is a critical, weather-dependent role focused on maintaining safe access for our commercial clients.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive Wages:

Hours:
On-call and flexible, entirely based on weather conditions and snow events (day, night, weekends).
Transportation:
Company-provided truck and specialized snow removal equipment.
Mileage:
Mileage reimbursement will be paid if the employee's personal vehicle is required for company business.
Season:
November through March (weather dependent).
Responsibilities
The primary duty of the Sidewalk Snow Removal Crew Member is to ensure that all assigned commercial sidewalks, walkways, and entrance areas are clear of snow and ice and treated effectively throughout snow events. Duties include:
Manual Snow Removal:
Efficiently and safely
shoveling
snow from sidewalks, entrances, fire exits, and other designated areas where equipment cannot reach.
Mechanical Snow Removal:
Operating small, motorized equipment, including
snow blowers
, to clear walkways and paths.
De-icing/Salting:
Applying salt, sand, or other de-icing agents to all hard surfaces to prevent ice buildup and maintain traction.
Storm Maintenance:
Remaining available and working through the duration of snow and ice events, which requires being on-call 24/7.
Equipment Care:
Performing pre- and post-trip checks on company vehicles and equipment, reporting any mechanical issues immediately, and keeping assigned tools clean.
Documentation:
Accurately logging work times, locations serviced, and materials used.
Requirements & Qualifications
Physical Fitness:
Must be capable of performing heavy manual labour for extended periods in extreme cold and adverse weather conditions.
Availability:
Must be reliable and have a flexible schedule to be available
24/7
for on-call deployment, often on short notice, throughout the winter season.
Valid License:
A valid G-class Driver's License with a clean driving record is required.
Professional Attire:
Must provide and wear appropriate winter work gear, including warm, water-resistant clothing and
High-Visibility (Hi-Vis) safety apparel
at all times while on the job.
Reliability:
Demonstrates a high level of dependability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
Experience:
Previous experience in snow removal or general outdoor maintenance is an asset but not mandatory. We are willing to train motivated candidates.
Note on Heavy Equipment:
This specific posting is for the Sidewalk Crew.
However, previous experience operating
plow trucks, skid steers, or wheel loaders
is a significant asset and should be noted in your application for consideration in other available equipment operator positions.
