Position overview:

Our team at AV Marketing Inc. is growing and we're hiring for a talented Short-Form Video Editor who's enthusiastic and experienced. We are a lean team of advertisers who specialize in running Facebook and Instagram ads for online businesses.

This role is part content creator, part video editor. We are looking for a proactive, creative, and independent person who has a passion for making videos that perform. You would be perfect for this job if you love to stay current on trends, and are creative and efficient when editing videos for social media and paid advertising.

This role has the option of being part time or contract, with the goal of moving into a full time role.

Key Responsibilities:

Stay current on trends and provide ideas for filming new ad content Edit recorded footage into a finished project Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects to enhance the video's performance Review and revise edits based on feedback from clients or team members Collaborate with our team to understand project requirements and objectives Maintain an organized library of project files and assets Juggle multiple editing projects and meet assigned deadlines

Key Qualifications:

A diploma or degree in Film Production, Marketing, or Communications. At least 1 year of experience in a Video Editing role. Familiarity with editing software like Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, Davinci Resolve. Ability to prioritize tasks to consistently achieve deadlines. Ability to be proactive while managing multiple tasks independently. General understanding and knowledge of social media marketing and digital advertising. You are in Eastern time zone and can work standard 9-5 hours.

Marketing Agency Experience Ready to learn/absorb/coachable Experience with Frame.io and Asana Ability to provide past work samples Local to the GTA Has videographer experience and can collaborate to record videos
