As a Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menu specifications.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
Adhere to health and safety guidelines while handling kitchen equipment and tools.
Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Experience
Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
Familiarity with meal preparation techniques, food handling, and kitchen operations is essential.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food service is highly desirable.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
