We are seeking an experienced and dependable Cook to join our small restaurant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment while adhering to food safety standards. This role is essential in delivering exceptional dining experiences and requires a strong commitment to meal preparation and food handling.
Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service schedules.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during meal service.
Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation.
Skills
Proficient in meal preparation techniques with a solid understanding of the food industry.
Experience working in a restaurant or similar food service environment is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining high-quality standards.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management.
Passion for cooking and creativity in menu development is a plus.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
