Job Purpose: Our Grande Prairie Production Chemicals team is seeking a full time Class 3 or 5 driver. This position is responsible for securing and hauling totes, pails, and drums in a safe manner. The successful individual should have experience with transporting dangerous goods as per federal guidelines and regulations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain an accurate and detailed electronic logbook in accordance with federal driving requirements
• Properly secure and inspect equipment and truck to ensure safe travel and load securement

• Keep equipment clean and complete routine maintenance
• Operate equipment in a safe and effective manner to prevent the risk of injury and/or property damage.
• Work in adherence to safe work practices, procedures and work site or traffic laws
• Complete all other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Competencies: The individual in this role will have:

• Experienced Deck Truck driver with a Valid Class 3 or 5 Drivers license and clean abstract
• Valid Safety Tickets (H2S, First Aid)
• Strong familiarity with Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations
• Proficient with electronic logbooks, permits, and federal driving requirements
• Reside within Grande Prairie area along with a familiarity of local roads and work sites
• Commitment to working safely and following safety protocol
• Must be reliable, mature, punctual, motivated
• Strong detail orientation with computer skills
• Solid communication and customer service skills
