P&H Milling

P&H is the largest Canadian-owned milling company. The P&H Milling Group sources wheat from Western Canada, Ontario, Quebec, and Atlantic Canada to produce quality flour and cereal products. The lineup includes hard red spring wheat flour for breads and other bakery products, soft winter wheat flour for cakes and cookies, as well as semolina flour for pasta, organic flour, and atta flour for chappati. In our specialty milling operation in Saskatoon, we also mill pea fractions.

From its mills in Halifax, Nova Scotia; Montreal, Quebec; Acton, Hanover, and Cambridge, Ontario; Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; and Lethbridge, Alberta, the P&H Milling Group supplies flour to customers throughout Canada, the United States, the Caribbean, the Middle East, Iceland, and Pacific Rim countries.

Your Role

As the Class 1 Truck Driver, the successful candidate will be responsible for safely delivering flour or feed ingredients to our customers within a 250 km radius. This is a position in which the majority of the time, you will know your schedule ahead of time and not be away from home overnight.

Day to Day

• Delivery of bulk flour to our distribution center and customers.
• Provide prompt and courteous assistance to bulk flour and feed customers.
• Loading and unloading of bulk flour as well as mill feed products.
• Maintain records and documents in accordance with relevant procedures and regulations.
• Abide by and observe all safety procedures and company policies.
• May be required to perform other related duties including loading and unloading of bulk flour.

Required Qualifications

• Possession of a Class 1 Driver license along with a clear drivers abstract and medical in good standing.
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience is required.
• Ability to drive a standard transmission truck is required.
• Able to safely lift and carry up to 40kg.
• Ability to service our customers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Understanding and working knowledge of quality control practices and procedures as per BRC regulations.
