Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Shop Technician to join our team at Drive Products in Mississauga. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and functionality of our truck-mounted equipment systems, install and service truck-mounted equipment, including PTO's, pumps, valves, and various other hydraulic components. And contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional TME solutions.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections and testing of truck-mounted equipment using specialized tools such as ohmmeters. Perform repairs and maintenance on TME systems to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot technical issues effectively. Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used. Assist in the installation of new TME systems as required. Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols during all operations. Provide technical support to customers when necessary. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements related to TME.

Qualifications

Experience as a technician/mechanic/welder preferred

(compensated for greater experience)*
Proven experience as a Shop Technician or similar role in the TME industry. Proficient in using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Familiarity with safety regulations related to equipment handling is preferred. Hydraulic system knowledge is an asset Will be required to have your own tools Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented, dependable and punctual
