JOB SUMMARY
The Shop Labourer will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the shop, vehicles, and equipment while following strict guidelines for safety and environmental protection. Organizing and all duties will be performed with a consistently high focus on customer service, safety, and environmental protection.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Follow all AFD policies and procedures, along with government compliance regulations for the safe handling of products.
• Loading and/or unloading product being shipped or received. Inspect inbound product
• Opening bales, crates, and other containers
• Sorting of materials or products on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Sort parts for each project or unit number.
• Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to other designated areas, with proper use of material handling equipment, such as pallet jack, steel strapping etc.
• Clean area after each task is completed
• Ensuring shop / work area is accessible and safe for everyone.
• Maintain the cleanliness of shop to AFD standards, at all times.
• Marking materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
• Pick-up and delivery errands as required.
• Wash Tanks and equipment as required.
• May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed.
• Sweeping, dusting, and mopping.
• Organizing the shop and work area for orderliness.
• Wearing the proper safety equipment.
• Other related duties as required or assigned.

OTHER KEY SKILLS (or product knowledge)

• Experience in the fuel or transportation industry an asset
• Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and e-mail required
• Professional written and verbal communication skills

EXPEREINCE
1+ years' experience working in a warehouse or labourer capacity
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or GED requiredJob Type: Full-time
