Shop Labourer / Parts Assembler / Forklift OperatorWage: $21.50/hr to startLocation: Grande Prairie - SHOP POSITIONPermanent full time position - 40 hours per week + overtimeCurrently seeking a Shop Labourer / Warehouse Assistant for our busy Grande Prairie facility, Would be involved with assembling components in the shop (basic hand / Power tools experience is required), receiving incoming industrial equipment and parts, prepping parts (disassembling components, cleaning, sandblasting, labeling, etc), assisting technicians, moving materials and equipment around the shop via forklift and overhead crane, and preparing repaired equipment for shipping or storage (wrapping, palatalizing, booking carriers, etc) MUST BE ABLE TO PASS PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG & ALCOHOL TESTINGJOB FUNCTIONS

• Assembly and disassembly of Parts and Equipment within the shop
• Assisting Trades personnel
• Load/Unload trucks with a forklift and overhead crane
• Prepare equipment for repair (basic mechanical disassembly, cleaning)
• Label, organize, prepare parts for orders
• Identify and source materials from appropriate locations, utilize appropriate equipment to process for orders.
• Prepare material/equipment for shipment by truck, courier or customer pickup.
• Basic customer service
• Provide proper maintenance of equipment and keep work area clean and safe for customers and other employees.
• Receive, identify and stock incoming materials as per Receiving Procedures.

Experience:

• Equipment / Parts Assembly & Repair: 1 year (preferred)
• Forklift: 1 year (preferred)
