Cuttings Edge Energy is an equipment rental company, specializing in fluid recovery & drill cuttings management services for Western Canada.

We are currently accepting resumes for the position of Shop Laborer.

Duties Include (but are not limited to):

Equipment cleaning, detailing & decal installation Shop/yard housekeeping and maintenance Equipment/vehicle repair, servicing and maintenance Shipping/Receiving of equipment and parts at Leduc shop Pick-up of parts and/or supplies from Leduc/Edmonton area vendors Co-ordinating with purchaser to inform them of low supplies that need re-ordering
Personal Attributes of Successful Candidate:

Work efficiently in a challenging, fast-paced environment Able to learn the servicing of equipment and vehicles in shop and at job sites Willing to working outside in adverse weather conditions Flexible availability, willing to work overtime and share on call duties Willing to actively participate in and support Health and Safety program procedures and policies Be a team player Be adaptable to change (i.e. last minute changes to work plan/sudden equipment failure requiring immediate attention) Able to work independently, take initiative and take direction with a positive attitude Reliably appear for regularly scheduled work hours as well as scheduled on-call work
Required Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age Clean Driver's Abstract Valid Class 5 Driver's License Fluent in English (speaking, reading and writing) Able to pass company required medical testing (physical and drug testing) Reside within 50km of Leduc, AB Must have reliable transportation (to and from shop)
