Job Description

RNR Steel Inc. is looking for a Shop helper/delivery driver to join our team. This position is responsible for assisting with the daily shop operations and other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will be able to perform a variety of tasks and work well in a team environment or independently.

Duties and Responsibilities

Operate forklift and other equipment as needed Maintain warehouse space by keeping it organized, clean, and presentable to customers Work with the Shop Supervisor to ensure that orders are processed in a timely manner Perform general warehouse duties such as sorting materials, organizing racks, and taking inventory count. Other duties as assigned by Shop Supervisor Make deliveries and/or pick ups Package items for shipping Doing small cut jobs on a band saw Grinding, polishing and sanding material for final finishes Small maintenance on vehicles and equipment

Experience

Forklift certificate as asset. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to understand verbal instructions. Have a clean driver's abstract. Overhead crane experience an asset
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
