As our growth creates new career opportunities, likely there is the right one for you!MissionTerus Construction, a division of Colas Western Canada Inc., is seeking a Summer Shop Helper based in Crescent Valley, BC, for the period of May to August.This position offers a dynamic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both shop operations and related office tasks. The ideal candidate should possess a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn about the industry, and work according to company and industry safety standards. This role is ideal for students interested in gaining practical experience working with and around mobile construction equipment.Main Responsibilities

• Shop clean-up, organizing, and parts running
• Office support including filing, scanning, and general organization tasks
• Shovel, rake, and wheelbarrow work
• Ensure the safe and effective use of hand tools
• Assisting mobile equipment operators with various tasks, including but not limited to site grading, material placement, preventative maintenance
• Other operational and office duties as required

Requirements/Qualifications

• Must demonstrate the capability to identify safety hazards
• Must be an effective communicator and a team player
• Must follow safety practices in line with the National Safety Code (NSC).
• Must demonstrate strong willingness to learn and adhere to DARCI software.
• Must comply with the company's drug and alcohol policy, including pre-employment testing.
• Must adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

Compensation DataThe anticipated hourly wage for this position is $30/hr .
