Flower Shop in the Village is a small flower and plant shop that is very busy. We create beautiful hand-tied bouquets, vase arrangements, celebration of life arrangements and wedding florals.

We are seeking a friendly and proactive Shop assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for flowers and plants. The Shop assistant will be responsible providing excellent customer service, managing inventory, maintaining the front displays in the shop, prepping flowers when they arrive. We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and has the ability to work in a team and independently and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries Answering the phone and take floral orders Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills necessary for transactions Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in stock management Maintain watering and care of plants Maintain a clean and organized work area Provide excellent customer service. Manage inventory of flowers and plants. Must be able to work Saturdays Must be able to lift heavy buckets and boxes Must be able to stand for long periods.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.85-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
