The position's main function is assembling, and packaging of various products and other duties as assigned.Responsibilities

• To pack, crate and bundle products and parts according standard operating procedures and/or established practices and processes to ensure adequate protection from shipment damage.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.
• As required to operate a wide variety of material handling equipment, including hoists or any other form of handling equipment.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 Diploma or GED Equivalency
• Mechanical skill and hand tool knowledge would be considered an asset
• Strong organizational skills, extremely self-motivated.
• Good communication skills; both verbally and written.
• Be able to work with minimal supervision.
