As a Shipping Package/Mail Screener in a design firm, you will play a critical role in managing the receipt and distribution of packages and mail within the firm. Your primary responsibilities will include inspecting and screening all incoming and outgoing packages to ensure compliance with safety regulations and firm policies.
Responsibilities:
Delivers and/or picks up mail, documents, packages and materials.
Logging and tracking all packages and mail, including recording recipient information, tracking numbers, and delivery dates.
Distributing packages to the appropriate departments or individuals within the firm in a timely and organized manner.
Coordinating with courier services for efficient pickup and delivery of packages, if required.
Adhering to safety regulations and protocols for handling packages and mail.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Good communication skills to interact with colleagues and external partners.
Ability to lift and move packages of varying weights.
Proficiency in basic computer skills for documentation and record-keeping.
Ability to stand, sit, and/or walk for extended periods of time.
