Shipping and Receiving Supervisor

for our Langley, BC location. This role is actively involved in day-to-day warehouse operations, supporting the Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Logistics teams across our industrial chain, laser, and metal detector manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will work directly on the warehouse floor, helping to improve processes, supporting the implementation of a new ERP system, and introducing practical tools and technologies to create a safer, more efficient, and organized warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include:

Perform general shipping and receiving tasks in a timely manner. Support sales & service group by obtaining, packing, and shipping parts directly to customers globally. Inbound documents check and basic inbound quality checks. Enter shipping/receiving in the ERP and print labels. Transport goods on a forklift around the facility and load machines onto trucks for transport. Help in reorganizing the warehouse. Use inventory control software, maintain inventory accuracy, and perform cycle counts. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Other duties as required.

Skills and Experience:

5+ years experience in a similar role. International and domestic shipping experience would be an asset (FedEx, UPS, DHL etc.) Physically fit and able to lift 50lb, stand for extended periods, bend, and manually load/unload pallets and freight. Experience with ERP software. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent time management, organization, and prioritization skills. Familiarity with recognizing technical components is an asset. * Experience operating forklifts is an asset.
