Shipping and Receiving Associate

Silver Cove is Canada's largest mineral and gem company. We do everything from retail store front to live online sales and we even host our own trade show events. This is a fast-paced and high energy environment that will be sure to keep you on your toes.

This position reports to Online Sales Manager.

Responsibilities

:

Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.

Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.

Prepare packages for shipping and ensure that all orders have been filled correctly

Develop mailing labels and shipping document using shipping software

Maintains a neat and clean workspace

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Work Hours and Benefits:

Part-time position

Office hours may vary. Must be available for occasional weekend shifts.

Skills and Qualifications:

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

Must be able to work independently and in a group setting

The ability to lift and carry 40lbs unassisted

Must be self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously

Previous shipping and/or receiving experience considered an asset

Up to date forklift certification considered an asset

Knowledge of Canada Post shipping requirements an asset
