In this role, you'll manage the flow of goods, handle deliveries, and ensure inventory accuracy. Key Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and completeness. Receive incoming food shipments and verify the quantity and quality of items against order forms or invoices. Safely store food items in designated storage areas such as refrigerators, freezers, and dry storage, following food safety guidelines. Prepare and pack outgoing shipments following established procedures. Maintain accurate records of all shipping and receiving activities. Collaborate with Hotel and Casino members to ensure on-time and accurate deliveries. Perform inventory management and stock replenishment tasks. Collaborate with kitchen and inventory staff to keep track of inventory levels and report any shortages or excesses. Adhere to health and safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Education, Qualification and Requirements:

Prior experience in shipping and receiving operations preferred. Experience in food handling or stock management is an asset. Forklift certification is required*
Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in shipping and receiving records. Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy items. Flexibility to work occasional early mornings, evenings or weekends, as needed. Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management.

Work Environment

Able to stand and walk repeatedly over the course of a shift Ability to tolerate exposures to heat, cold and water The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, occasionally 30 to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, there may be stooping, kneeling, bending, reaching and crouching Must be willing to wear personal protective equipment

Hours of Work

The hours of work for this position will vary depending on operational requirements and may include day and evening, as well as weekends and holidays. The typical schedule is from 8:00 am to 12:00 nn (Monday to Friday), possible more hours during busy season.
