What You'll Do
This is a hands-on role where you will be active and engaged in our warehouse operations. The breakdown of duties is approximately:
80% Hands-On Warehouse Operations:
Safely operate a
forklift
and other material handling equipment to unload inbound trucks and load outbound shipments.
Receive all incoming materials, checking shipments for damage and ensuring they match purchase order details.
Accurately record received goods into our ERP system.
Carefully pick, pack, and prepare finished equipment and parts for outbound shipment, ensuring all items are secure for transport.
Assist with daily and weekly inventory cycle counts to help us maintain high accuracy.
20% Administrative & Coordination:
Double-check and prepare all necessary shipping paperwork, such as bills of lading and packing slips, ensuring complete accuracy.
Coordinate with freight carriers to schedule shipment pickups and track their progress to delivery.
Communicate shipping and receiving status updates to internal teams.
Help investigate and resolve any shipping discrepancies or issues as they arise.
What You Bring
2+ years of experience
in a shipping/receiving or warehouse role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in operating a forklift
(a current certification is a strong asset).
A keen
eye for detail
to check paperwork and inspect shipments for issues.
The ability to lift 50 lbs / 23 kg, climb ladders, and work on your feet for most of the day.
A safety-first mindset and a reliable, punctual work ethic; you understand that the team is counting on you.
A positive, can-do attitude that contributes to our collaborative and energetic culture.
Familiarity with export documents (e.g., CUSMA, commercial invoices) is a plus, but we are happy to train the right candidate.
