Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Coordinator to join our dynamic team. Successful candidates will have at least 2 years of experience counterbalance forklifts - propane and electric. Must have experience working in a warehouse setting. Excellent opportunity for growth and advancement with benefits and regular rate reviews. The ideal candidate would also have to have intermediate understanding of Computer, Excel and ERP.

Duties and Responsibilities:



Maintain/create shipping documentation, including BOL's Packing Slips and Customs Paperwork Submitting trucking information daily Printing warehouse labels when needed for production Ordering office, stationary, and minor warehouse supplies Updating work process for loading and unloading trucks Tracks, traces and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments Maintains an accurate log of containers/shipments (arrival, departure, etc.) Verify and inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for quality and accuracy Provides additional backup support for the production dept Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counts and reconciliations Record inventory movements in ERP Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical and system inventory Assist in developing and maintaining efficient storage systems for materials and finished goods Operate forklift and other equipment as needed to move/organize inventory Maintains good relations with customers, shipping companies, drivers and staff Other duties and responsibilities as required

Qualifications:



High school Diploma, GED, or equivalent. 2+ years Logistics, manufacturing and customer service experience Must have a Valid Forklift License for minimum Two years of Experience working in a Warehouse setting. Good problem solver and ability to multitask in certain situations Always Possess a "Quality First" attitude, ensuring that Quality is the central focus; actively audit the quality of the product in your department Microsoft Office and excel proficient Good written and verbal communication skills Strong sense of time organization and urgency Able to work independently and within a team Must be familiar with international shipping/receiving concepts, practices and procedures Reports to the Plant Manager
Note: Candidate must be authorize to work full time for any employer in Canada.

Schedule:



Day shifts 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

THE CANDIDATE MUST BE FLEXIBLE TO WORK WEEKENDS AND EXTENDED HOURS WHEN NEEDED



Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
