Job Description

Shipper/Receiver/Order Picker - Meat PlantSmartime Consulting is a staffing agency with years of experience in the employment industry. We offer various staffing services across the GTA, including skilled and unskilled positions for warehouse, food manufacturing, construction parts, auto parts, etc.Job location: Etobicoke, OntarioShift: Day Shift - Monday to Friday 6:45am - 4:30pm; Occasional Saturday work may be required.: Shipper/receiver/order picker in a meat manufacturing company

  • Responsible for offloading and loading skids, both manually and using stand-up walkie forklift and pump trucks
Responsible for sorting and storing of incoming product
  • Picking & Packing
  • Ensure labels, box counts, and shipments are accurate
Ensure all orders are accurately shipped/received in a timely manner Ensure the forklift and all other equipment is maintained and is in safe condition Other duties as assignedWork Condition and Environment: fast-paced environment Ability to bend, lift and reach Ability to work in a cold environment Ability to work in areas that may have slippery conditions Ability to work overtime. Ability to lift to 50 lbsQualifications and requirements: Must have valid equipment Training Certification on Tow Motor (Fork Lift) Must have experience in a shipping/receiving/order picking environment Good command of English language (able to read and speak) Basic PC skills Reliable, punctual and possess a good work ethic and extremely attentive Required education: High school at minimum Must be legally eligible to work in Canada Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively Requirements: 2 work related references, Safety Footwear, Ear Plug, ability to pass a background clearance.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $16.50-$19.50 per hourBenefits:
