We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the shipping and receiving processes within our warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse distribution, order fulfillment, and possess a strong understanding of e-commerce operations. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will contribute to the smooth operation of our logistics.
Responsibilities
Accurately process incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring all packages are correctly labeled and documented.
Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment, including reach trucks, while adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain organized inventory records within the MRP system to facilitate efficient order fulfillment.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of orders and manage warehouse distribution effectively.
Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in maintaining optimal stock levels.
Utilize basic math skills for accurate counting and measurement of packages.
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the shipping and receiving areas.
Experience
Previous experience in a shipping/receiving role or similar warehouse position is preferred.
Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and order fulfillment processes is a plus.
Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks or forklifts is advantageous.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Basic math skills are essential for package measurements and inventory management.
