Position and Responsibilities

This is a position of leadership that is vital to our daily operation of the UF6 plant. We are seeking a strong team leader to direct the day-to-day production activities by creating and maintaining a work environment that will permit employees to achieve goals in a manner that is consistent with the safety, health and environmental through area ownership, team responsibility and individual accountability.

A key responsibility of this position is to ensure the safety of all production operators, maintenance and contractors working in the production area. This includes training (both new and existing employees), procedure review, communication within the group, emergency response and daily supervision of operator activities across major areas of operations which include UF6 production, waste-water treatment and chemical unloading. You will ensure that all work is performed safely, efficiently and in compliance with procedures, and that proper and complete documentation is maintained.

Education and Qualifications

Requirements of the position:

  • You will lead by example, drive corrective action and influence behavior
  • Experienced with incident investigations and process hazard analysis
  • Three years\' experience in supervision or leading teams in a chemical continuous processing environment
  • Self-starter able to multitask effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong team player
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and SAP
