Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations in our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the food industry, ensuring that our team delivers exceptional service and maintains high standards of food safety and quality. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, food preparation, and customer interactions, contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
Supervise daily operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Manage food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards.
Oversee the use of POS systems, including Micros POS, for efficient order processing and cash handling.
Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to foster a productive work environment.
Conduct interviews and assist in hiring new staff for various positions within the restaurant.
Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
Collaborate with management on inventory control and supply ordering.
Experience
Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry.
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations.
Previous supervisory experience with demonstrated team management skills.
Familiarity with cash handling procedures and customer service best practices.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques is essential.
Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is highly desirable.

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
