Position Summary

Under the direction of the Manager, Table Games or Duty Manager, Gaming, this position is responsible for overseeing the Table Games operations at the site level on a shift basis. Ensures adherence to all policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and provides a learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all employees. Develops performance objectives and delivers performance evaluations for direct reports. Implements all new Table Games initiatives as directed. Actively participates in the recruitment and hiring process.

Key Accountabilities

Provides leadership, direction and mentoring to the Table Games operations; develops performance objectives and delivers performance evaluations for direct reports Oversees Table Games operations on a shift basis; may monitor Slots operations at some locations Implements Table Games strategic plans as directed; participates in all Table Games marketing initiatives Co-signs cheques for verified winners Monitors the Customer Comp Program; may monitor and report on guest satisfaction surveys Prepares and submit departmental reports including labour cost analysis Trains employees Responds to, resolves or reports issues as escalated Liaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholder: guests, ownership and employees Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations Performs other duties as assigned or directed

Education and Qualifications

High School Diploma Post Secondary education or suitable combination of education and experience an asset Minimum 3 years of experience in gaming management SIR, Smart Serve or IGB certification Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication Computer literacy in MS Office * Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License
