We are seeking a skilled Metal Worker to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication and machining, with experience operating various machinery and tools. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints effectively. The Metal Worker will contribute to the production of high-quality metal products while ensuring adherence to safety standards.

Duties

Operate and maintain CNC laser cutting machines, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and plasma cutting equipment. Perform welding tasks using various techniques to assemble metal components. Utilize press brake machines for bending and shaping metal sheets. Conduct quality inspections of finished products to ensure they meet specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings for accurate assembly and fabrication. Use hand tools and precision measuring instruments such as calipers for machining tasks. Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

Proven experience in manufacturing or metalworking environments. Proficiency in CNC programming and operation of CNC machinery. Familiarity with crane and forklift operation is desirable. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks. Experience with quality inspection processes to ensure product integrity. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
