Job Summary

We are seeking an Apprentice Sheet Metal Worker to join our team. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed a pre-apprenticeship program, however we are willing to train the right candidate . This role requires proficiency in using hand tools and various mechanical equipment to create, install, and repair sheet metal products. The Apprentice Sheet Metal worker will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal products according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements. Utilize hand tools and machinery for cutting, bending, and shaping metal sheets. Perform welding tasks as needed for structural integrity of installations. Conduct restoration work on existing metal structures, ensuring durability and compliance with safety regulations. Apply caulking materials to seal joints and prevent leaks in installations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

Class 5 driver's license with clean abstract Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to sheet metal work is an asset Familiarity with welding techniques and practices is preferred Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team Commitment to maintaining high safety standards on the job site.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
