Job Overview

We are seeking two skilled Sheet Metal apprentices to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for fabricating, refitting HVAC assembling, and installing sheet metal products and systems. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes. The Sheet Metal apprentices will work closely with a Journeyman Sheet Metal Worker and other tradespeople to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

Refit and assemble sheet metal components for an HVAC refit according to specifications. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing metal. Collaborate other trades to complete projects efficiently. Perform restoration work on existing metal structures as needed. Apply caulking and perform construction painting as part of the finishing process. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards.

Skills

Proficient in using hand tools related to sheet metal work. Strong background in construction practices and techniques. Knowledge of construction principles is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members. Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Education:

AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
