Your Role As a SharePoint Online Specialist, the successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating seamless collaboration and information sharing across the organization and provide user support and training for our SharePoint environment.

Please note this is not a SharePoint Developer position.

Day to Day
  • Collaborate with departments to identify SharePoint requirements and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users on SharePoint functionalities.
  • Create and customize SharePoint sites including libraries, lists, web parts, forms, and templates.
  • Maintain SharePoint security policies, permissions, and access controls.
  • Oversee integration of SharePoint with various business applications and systems while efficiently managing migration projects.
  • Manage document lifecycle in SharePoint, ensuring best practices are being used for version control, metadata tagging, content organization, and archiving processes.
  • Enforce SharePoint governance policies to maintain compliance with regulations and guidelines.
  • Regularly audit SharePoint sites and content to maintain data integrity and security.
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
  • SharePoint certification is an asset.
  • Experience in SharePoint Online design, implementation, and administration with strong knowledge of SharePoint features including workflow automation and collaboration tools.
  • Proficient in SharePoint Designer, Microsoft Power Platform, and other SharePoint tools.
  • Project management skills with a demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward successful task completion.
  • Skilled in gathering and documenting business requirements, with proven experience in effectively capturing and articulating business needs.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 Application Suite.
